2. Wow, yesterday was a fabulous Saturday, probably the best this year. Since it was the start of the weekend I slept in til 8 in the morning, which is when I moseyed on over to the cafeteria for our community breakfast. It turned out to be quite a scrumptious breakfast that consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and biscuits. Right after our breakfast was over I went to work on helping out with preparing food for the week ahead. I was in charge of putting together peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches for the youngsters to eat at lunch. Luckily I finished putting together my share of the sandwiches a little early so I was allowed to wonder home and take of some house keeping. At 1 o'clock I once again made my way back to the cafeteria to eat some lunch. I was not very hungry so I mainly just snacked on some chips and vegetables. Since it is the weekend I had the next 6 hours to do what I wanted. I went for about an hour and a half long run around the community. I finished my run and went home to change and freshen up before I took a stroll down to the park to hang out with some fun people and enjoy the fresh air. Before I knew it, it was already to to go eat our dinner. We had some excellent fish tacos and a big salad. But the highlight of Saturday was the community wide party we had. This thing went all night with music, drinks, snacks, entertainment, and it was just an absolutely wonderful experience! I am extremely tired today and will most likely take a nap in a little bit now that I have already gotten the first half of my day over with. See you again soon!
3. Woke up this morning a little earlier than usual and ran over to the Monday breakfast. It is always the best one! Pancakes covered in syrup and smothered with butter. I went through the line for three helpings. I walked through the community on home satisfied, and ready for a good day at work. The other great part about Mondays is my two jobs for the day are both my favorite. My first session was hunting. I love to be in the woods and blend in with nature. I never come back empty handed and am known around the community as the best hunter. I hit the trail into the forest and set up between the edge of the woods and a wide open meadow. After a good while of patiently waiting a deer appeared from the woods fifty yards across from me. I took my shot as soon as I could and had no problem killing him with my first shot. By the time I dragged her back to the community it was time for lunch. After lunch I rotated to my second job and headed out to the boat for some fishing on the bay. The sea is mostly filled with sea bass and snapper. The afternoon brought a beautiful breezy and sunny day. I threw some stripped calamari on to my hook and tossed my line in to the glistening blue water. Being out on the water always helped me clear my head and relax. Also the thrill of catching a big snapper was another great aspect of fishing. The sun was beginning to fade so I headed to shore with five decent sized sea bass and a red snapper. For dinner the cafeteria had marinated the venison and served it with potatoes, corn, and salad. After dinner since the sun out on the water had drained me I hit the sack.
